Ed Price, President, CSS, Inc.

has worked with lab computer systems for well over 25 years. Besides leading our company, Ed also manages the Programming Department. Lab instrumentation and lab automation data communications, along with clinical information systems software interfaces for HIS, EMR and Practice Management Systems are Ed’s personal area of expertise. Ed is considered an industry leader in EMR interfaces and has written and spoken extensively on the subject. This expertise, along with Ed’s decades long experience with all sizes and types of laboratories, gives CSS the advantage in helping our clients increase productivity, gain new business, drive costs down and improve profitability.

Jim O'Neill, Jr., Vice President, Sales and Marketing

With over 20 years in the lab industry, Jim has a thorough knowledge of labs, LIS and ancillary business systems such as billing, operations and outreach. Besides supervising our sales and marketing efforts, Jim also manages post sales hardware acquisition for clients, implementation planning and training scheduling. Jim believes that the sales people that set the legitimate expectations of our prospective clients have a responsibility to follow through after the sale to assure that those expectations are met or exceeded. Jim is a “hands on” leader that sees to it that he is always available for questions or feed back.

Rick Morse , Director Customer Support

is a software engineer by training and has nine years of Help Desk and Support experience. Rick is in charge of all Help Desk, support and system training staff at CSS. One of Rick’s primary responsibilities is to assure that all client Medicare and Third Party Billing claims are processed in an efficient and timely manner to maximize client revenue and drive down denials. Consequently, Rick is always available to quickly handle client problems. Rick also works with the Programming Department, when necessary to resolve client issues and to support a Product Development program that is based on actual client needs.

Melanie Burdhimo, Corporate Administrator

brings over 30 years of accounting experience to our company.  Melanie previously worked in the oil industry and in mass merchant, retail sales accounting.  Melanie supervises all aspects of our business administration and financial dealings. She also personally takes care of Software and Hardware Contract administration and renewals. Melanie prides herself in knowing our customers and maintaining a real, personal rapport with them. Accordingly, she makes a point of always being available to take client calls to help in anyway possible.
